Vice Principal of Greentree Elementary School

The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a Vice P rincipal for Greentree Elementary School in Drumheller, AB, effective the start of the 2024/2025 school year.

Greentree School is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school. They are a Learning Community, engaging their students and staff in the SEEDS for life.

Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:

• Evidence of leading for learning and strong teaching skills
• Positive interpersonal relations with staff, parents, and community members
• Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision-making environment and to promote a positive culture
• Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree
• Supportive of direction from principal and desire to advance to this role

Applicants are asked to provide a current résumé with appropriate references and a one-page description of their philosophy as an educational leader, including a vision statement describing the priorities they wish to establish as Vice Principal.
